Wilderness First Aid Training - March 14 - 15, 2009
Gerard Muench (MPA / MICP) is running a Wilderness First Aid course at Camp Johnsonburg on March 14 - 15, 2009 for anyone interested. This two day first aid course is specific to those who enjoy serious outdoor activities and want to know what to do when help is delayed.
This course will take place over 16 hours. WFA presents wilderness topics in detail, provides time for skills practice, and includes role-playing and wilderness accident scenarios. The American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) accredits this course and it is the choice of many trip leaders and guides. There are no pre-requisites, but previous first aid and CPR training would be helpful.
