Join Us for Johnsonburg Day - Saturday, October 10, 2009

Camp Johnsonburg is continuing a new tradition with our second annual Johnsonburg Day, to be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009, from 10 am - 4 pm. This is an opportunity to visit camp, reunite with friends, and have fun as a family. Come and join us for food, music, games, fellowship and lots more.

Camp Johnsonburg, in conjunction with the town of Johnsonburg, is having a special day for the whole family to come and celebrate together. There will be activities for people of all ages and abilities with lots of food and entertainment. Here are our tentative plans.

Reunion
This event will also be a unique opportunity for all who have been to Johnsonburg in the past to come back and re-unite with those you have met in previous visits as staff, campers or just guests on the site. Give your friends a call and meet them here on Johnsonburg Day.

Giant Egg Toss
Trivia Contest

The winners of these events will receive a scholarship good toward a week of camp or a church retreat.

Super Church Contest
There will be two catagories for this contest:
Churches with 100 or fewer members..........$300 Scholarship
Churches with 101 or more members...........$500 Scholarship
The church that brings the most people to Johnsonburg Day in their catagory will win a scholarship toward a week of camp, a retreat or conference at Camp Johnsonburg.

Crafts
We will have a variety of craft vendors on site offering some very unique and interesting items for sale. You will be sure to enjoy shopping with these local artisans.

Music for all
Throughout the day, we will be blessed with music from a variety of church Praise and Worship bands. This music will be for the entire family and sure to lift your spirits.

All you can eat buffet in the Jburg Dining Hall

Auctions
There will be a silent auction from 12:00pm until 3:00pm in
whereyou may bid on some wonderful items.
Beginning at 3:00pm, there will be a live auction with
zuctioneer in the camp's Gymnasium. We will have many fine
items to bid on. Bring your check book for these great deals.
