List of 50th Anniversary Celebratory Events
Alumni Reunion - May 29, 2010
Our 8th Annual Alumni Reunion will serve as the culminating event for our year-long celebration. The main festivities will take place on Saturday, May 29, but we invite all former staff to spend the whole weekend (May 28-31) with us, reconnecting with friends, getting reacquainted with the site, and soaking up the Johnsonburg spirit.
Note: As we put our schedule together, we are being intentional about lots of time for people to have quality moments together to reminisce.

J-Jam Alumni Concert - June 14, 2009
This should be a rockin event scheduled at the camp Rec Center. A number of former staff musicians will be headlining this event. We will be selling a special concert t-shirt and a few other surprises will be unveiled at the concert. Please feel free to download the poster for this event (see below) and post it in your church.

4th Annual Golf Tournament - September 13, 2009
Camp Johnsonburg's 4th Annual Golf Tournament. We have had so much fun with this event over the past three years that we can not wait to do it again. It will be held at the Minebrook Golf Club in Hackettstown again this year.

Johnsonburg Day - October 10, 2009
Camp Johnsonburg, in conjunction with the village of Johnsonburg, is having a special day for the whole family to come and celebrate 50 years of camping together. It will be a reunion time for those who have attended our summer camping programs and a time for those who are new to the camp to visit and see what the camp has to offer. There will be activities for people of all ages and abilities with lots of information about the camp and the town. Several contests will be help with scholarships for camp given as prizes. There will also be food options and entertainment for all tastes. Topping off the day will be an auction to benefit the general fund of the camp. Mark this date on your calendar and bring your family for this fun filled day.

Food and Faith: A Way to Live Curriculum Event - December 12, 2009
"Way to Live: Christian Practices for Teens" is a book that has been an invaluable resource for us here at camp over the past several summers. It has served as the basis for our summer curriculum for many years and we often find ourselves reaching for it in numerous program situations. This event will give us the oppportunity to share with a larger audience some of what we have done during the summer. As the title implies, this event will focus food and how it can impact our faith in a variety of ways. The day will consist of workshops and hands on activities and is open to everyone.
Fundraising Banquet - March 20, 2010
Join us for a first class sit down banquet meal with hors doerves, appetizers and a 50th Anniversary celebration cake for dessert. As we celebrate 50 years of camping ministry, we invite you and about 299 others to celebrate with a full program emphasizing the past, present and what we hope the future will look like. There will be several guest speakers and special guests invited to participate in the festivities. This event will be held at the beautiful Perona Farms in Sparta, New Jersey.
