Designed for those entering grades 8 & 9. All events are housed in tent - cabins.We update the availability weekly, so if an event is full and you are limited in your ability to choose other events, please call us (908-852-2401 or 908-852-2349). Occasionally people withdraw their application, or we open additional units.
Classic Junior High Camp -In these events, junior highs have ample time to socialize and be who God created them to be. Encouraged to express opinions and feelings, campers also will partake of the full range of activities. Discussions about faith are a key part of the event as teens move toward adulthood. 6 Days, offered each week. J-burg Survivor -Unlike the show, you won’t be voted off the island, but if you’re up for physical and mental challenges, this is the unit for you. We’ll participate in activities designed to build teamwork and self-worth, and still have plenty of time for traditional camp activities. 6 days, offered twice. MAD Camp (Music/Art/Drama) -For those with a creative side, we’ll explore music, art, Paddlers -For those with a sense of adventure! We’ll spend most of the week at camp, but spend one day canoeing the beautiful Delaware River. We’ll put in at Bushkill Falls and get picked up at Delaware Water Gap. No experience necessary as we’ll go over canoeing basics here at camp before leaving for our day on the river. The rest of the week will be spent enjoying favorite camp activities. 6 Days, offered once, $525. Geocaching -Calling all treasure seekers! This unit takes an old school activity – orienteering – and gives it a new twist. We’ll use handheld GPS (bring your own, or use ours) to find different caches around the site. We’ll even hide a few for other people to find. There will still be time for traditional camp favorites like boating and swimming. 6 days, offered once, $490. Girl Power -This unit for girls will celebrate what it means to be a girl today. Campers will discuss body image, conflict resolution, forming and expressing opinions, and keys to sound relationships. We’ll laugh, sing, talk about girl stuff, and better understand how we are uniquely loved by God. 6 Days, offered once. All-Terrain Bike Camp -Each day your group rides different terrain for varying distances -- trail rides over the back hills of Johnsonburg, local country roads, and an overnight at Jenny Jump State Forest. Must be in good physical condition and able to ride 25 miles. Begin with short day trips and gradually increase the distance. Bring a mountain bike in good condition and a helmet. Call if unsure. 6 Days, offered once. Gotta Dance! -This unit is for those campers who love to express themselves through dance. You'll have the opportunity to dance a variety of styles and share your passion with others, plus time for swimming, boating, and all your favorite camp activities. 6 days, offered once. Click! -This unit is for anyone interested in digital photography. With camp as your backdrop, you’ll learn how to compose, take, and edit photos, as well as learn what all those settings on your camera mean! We’ll still have time for other camp activities. 6 days, offered once, $490.
