A unique feature of Johnsonburg is our rustic cabins. During the summer these cabins often house our younger outdoor campers, ages 7-14. These buildings are rustic and provide an authentic outdoor experience. Most cabins have 4 bunk beds, two doors, two large dressers, and cubbies; some have open closets. Most of these living spaces are for use in the warmer months, as they lack heating elements. Some cabins, many of which are ‘outlying’ have extra amenities, such as heating/cooling and occasionally plumbing.
