Our Dining Hall overlooks Glover’s Pond. We have large windows to observe the lake and its beauty. It features a large wood-burning stone fireplace and is surrounded with warmly aged knotty pine walls. This large indoor space is great for groups, meetings, rainy day activities, dancing, and dining. Meals are available as well as snacks and a coffee/tea/hot chocolate station. A conference room is available next door in the facility. Great for meetings, and worshiping. This space is also Wifi Equipped. We have drop-down screens and digital projectors for slideshows, services, meetings, and whatever else you or your group want to use it for! Finely tiled restrooms are also located in the building to the left before the double doors.
Food Service
It is our goal to offer a variety of delicious, nutritious foods, tailored to the needs and preferences of our guests.
Healthy food at Johnsonburg Presbyterian Center is prepared “from scratch” in our own kitchen, using fair trade tea and coffee.
Meal times
Buffet-style or family style meals are available in the Dining Hall at the following standard times:
- Breakfast – 8:30 AM
- Lunch – 12:30 PM
- Dinner – 5:30 PM
Our kitchen staff can work with you if your schedule requires us to adjust these times.
Snack offerings
Snacks for your break times during the day or evening are available for a fee. Typical offerings include:
- Fruit baskets
- Cheese and crackers
- Cookies/muffins
- Tea, juices, and fair-trade coffee are available in our dining room during meal times. Upon request, snacks and beverages may, for an additional charge, be served in your meeting area.
Special dietary needs
Every meal at Johnsonburg Presbyterian Center includes vegetarian options.
With advance notice, our kitchen staff is happy to provide for other special needs.
Some of the needs we have fulfilled in the past include:
- Gluten-free foods
- Vegan options (vegetarian with no dairy)
- Dairy-free foods
- Kosher meals
In addition, a refrigerator, stove and microwave are available in each lodge, for the use of individuals who, for health reasons, need to bring some of their own food.
