Middle School RetreatCamp Johnsonburg leads a series of programmed retreats and events every year. You provide the youth and chaperons, we provide the program, leadership, and music! Many youth leaders love knowing they can take their kids away for a retreat experience without having to do all of the planning. Johnsonburg retreats are also an excellent opportunity for your youth to connect with youth from other areas. In addition to the program, each retreat also includes seasonally appropriate opportunities to participate in various camp activities like the zip line, boating, and many more. Click on any of the events listed below for more information.

“This weekend did wonders for the self esteem of soo many in my group and I’m sure others as well.
Johnsonburg is such a gift to all who spend time there and you all do a tremendous amount to make it home to many. Thank You!”  -Kelly, Retreat Advisor

How To Register:

  • When you know how many people you will bring to the retreat, have a representative from your church call the office at (908) 852-2349 or email Kim, Registrar, at kim@campjburg.org
  • A Group Hold Code is then created for you and your participants. This will save the exact amount of spaces you requested for your youth and adult advisors.
  • You will then be sent your Group Hold Code.
  • Give this code to all of your participants going (youth and advisors).
  • They will go to www.campjburg.org and click the green button on the right side of the page that says “Register Online”.  They will click the next green button “Register Online”.  Our system will then check to make sure you have the correct browser and bring up another box.  In the center,  they will click “Continue to Registration”
  • If the participant already has an account they will log in.  Once logged in, on the left side under campers, make sure to select the correct camper name.  On the right side under Enrollment, click on the green “Add New Program” button. A screen appears asking if you have a Group Hold Registration. In the space under Enter GHR ID  is where they will enter the Group Hold Code.  Then click “Save/Next”  at the bottom of the page. Only after entering the code will they be able to register with your group for the Youth Retreat.
  • If the participant does not have an account, they will click on “Create New Account”.  This will be for the parent/adult.  It takes just a few minutes to fill out some biographical information to create one and add their ”Camper”. (To register for events in our database system, everyone needs to be a “Camper”.  So please be sure to tell the adults when registering to add themselves as  “Campers”) A few steps into that process it will show them a page for Group Hold Registration
  • Once the Group Hold Code is entered, the participant will select Youth Retreat and click “Save/Next”.  They will then select the retreat they will be attending and the Tier Price for the retreat and click on “Save/Next”. They will then complete the rest of the forms in the registration process. (With the Group Hold Code, only the youth retreat you have a group hold for will appear.)
  • Every few days, the main contact on your church’s account will receive an auto generated report email letting you know who has registered with your group hold number.
  • The Group Hold Code will expire two weeks prior to the event, so please make sure everyone has completed their registration by then.  This allows us to plan for housing, meals and small groups.

Thanks so much!  We look forward to seeing you at Johnsonburg!
