The Giving Tree, dedicated as part of our 50th anniversary celebration in 2009, is an opportunity for people to support camp, while also honoring friends, family members, or groups. Donations to the Giving Tree result in either a silver or gold leaf being placed on the tree, with the inscription of the donor’s choice. The tree contains leaves donated by summer staff groups, families, parents honoring their children, and memorial gifts, to name a few. Located in the lobby of the camp dining hall, where it is viewed by just about every group that comes to camp, the Giving Tree will be a lasting reminder of those who support Camp Johnsonburg. The funds raised by this initiative will be used for the continuing operations of the camp and its programs.
