Middle School Camps
Kids love it here.
Kids need camp now more than ever. As soon as they get here, cold months of homework and school stress will be in the distant past. We're gonna play, sing, shout, swim, run, climb, and just have a plain 'ol good time.
Also, parents will sleep soundly every night their kids are here at our Christian summer camp. Our staff are carefully screened, thoroughly interviewed, and intensively trained. Our ACA accreditation ensures we are constantly refreshing our safety standards. Plus--we've got great food with tons of options, well kept homey cabins, suncreen and bug spray stations set up around the property, and a million more details, big and small, that show summer campers...and parents...that we care.
Middle School Mayhem

Highlights
Enjoy God’s creation surrounded by friends--laughing, learning, swimming, creating, and worshiping. Every day, your group gets to choose an exciting activity like shaving cream whiffle ball, going up our high ropes course, or zooming down the zip-line! Spend time with your cabin group enjoying all the other thrilling activities camp has to offer while continuing to grow in God!

Night Owl

Enjoy God’s creation in the dark--with stargazing, worshiping around a campfire, glow in the dark night games, and much more! Campers will get to stay up later and sleep in later, as we adopt a schedule for the week that some teens just wish the whole world ran on. Experience your favorite activities during the day AND by the light of the moon--as well as Night Owl only activities that no other camp session gets to do. Don't howl...just register!

Rides and Slides

A summer favorite, Rides and Slides is a unique and extremely fun way to experience Johnsonburg community. Hang out at camp for the week, making friends with other middle schoolers in and out of your cabin, experiencing all the activities that help make Jburg a unique place. Then, sometime towards the end of the week, your group will hit the roller coasters at Dorney Park! We are excited to offer this popular camp and you won't want to miss it!

Adventure Trek

Adventure Trek was one of our most popular camps last year and a great option for any middle or high schooler. Our campers will split some time between our site, where they will have ample opportunities to enjoy our zip-line, glacially carved lake, and expansive woods. Then, they'll head off-site to spend some time paddling on a river, hiking a piece of the AT, and rock climbing. Join us for an Adventure!

Music Camp

Camp is already a place that's great for creative people...so why not lean into it? MAD Camp is a favorite from the 2010s back for the first time in quite a while. You and your group will get plenty of time throughout the week to sing and play music, show off your artistic passion, and have time for improv or put a more serious show together. Don't fret, there will be plenty of time for Jburg favorites like swimming in the lake, riding the zipline, and playing gaga ball. We're looking forward to this popular session once again filling up, so register early!

Proficient artists or just the well intentioned will all be able to get something out of this week.
All our camps are community focused, but MAD especially connects campers and builds relationships that will last long after summer ends.

Wonderfully Made is our week to celebrate our LGBTQIA+ campers and allies. With dedicated curriculum that is focused on how loving everyone is borne out in scripture, this is a unique session to support the full diversity of God's creation.
